Bruce Killian has served the Springfield Township community for the last 17 years, from 1992 to 2007 as Trustee and 2008 to present as Fiscal Officer. Both he and his wife Mary Ann (Galloway) are life residents of the Township.

Bruce grew up on the farm next to Milroy School, graduated from Hoban High School in 1969, and majored in Business Administration at the University of Akron. He and Mary Ann operated a grocery store in East Akron for almost 20 years.

Bruce still farms the family homestead, raising hay, corn, and pumpkins. He is a life member of the NRA and American Motorcycle Association, current member of Summit County Farm Bureau, and Treasurer of the Summit County Township Association.

Deborah Davis, Trustee

Deborah Davis was elected Trustee in 2001. She is a life resident of the Township growing up on Emmett Drive off Myersville Road and now resides at 821 Wright Blvd.

She was a Police Dispatcher for the Township for 12 years and currently works part-time as a Secretary/Dispatcher for the Uniontown Police Department.

Deborah and her husband Warren have 3 children. They are Danial, Jamie, and Amber who have all graduated from Springfield High School.

Deborah enjoys volleyball, softball, biking and horses. She attends Millheim United Church of Christ and Calvary Temple.

Dean Young, Trustee

Dean Young, elected Trustee in 2007, resides on the Young Farm, an Ohio Historic Homestead, established by his family in 1877.

Dean Graduated from Springfield High School, Malone College and The Ohio State University College of Law. His law practice has emphasized civil trial work, consumer law, probate and estate planning.

Dean is a father of three children: Melissa, Emily & Rachel. Besides his commitment to work for the township, his personal interests include horseback riding, bicycling, tennis and outdoor activities of all kinds.
